About Us

The Intelligent Computing Laboratory (CI Lab) at Beihang University is dedicated to frontier research on efficient intelligent computing systems to meet the demands of next-generation artificial intelligence. Driven by the needs of autonomous systems and intelligent applications, the lab conducts systematic, cross-layer research across key areas including artificial intelligence algorithms, computer architecture, and chip prototype design, with a particular focus on the fundamental scientific and engineering challenges arising from the deep integration of AI and computing systems.

CI Lab has established long-term and stable collaborations with leading universities and research institutions worldwide, including Duke University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, and Peking University. Through joint research projects, academic exchanges, and talent development initiatives, the lab continues to promote high-level international collaboration.

In recent years, CI Lab has published numerous high-quality papers at top-tier international conferences and journals in the fields of computer architecture, AI systems, and chip design. Several works have received Best Paper Awards or nominations, and the lab’s research has attracted broad attention and citations from the international academic community. Members of the lab are frequently invited to present their work at major conferences such as DAC, ISCA, KDD, and ICCV.

While pursuing research excellence, CI Lab places strong emphasis on the cultivation of high-level talent. Many alumni have gone on to pursue further studies at world-renowned universities or to join leading global technology companies, making impactful contributions to the advancement of artificial intelligence and intelligent computing worldwide.
